Default users lists in campaigns

This week, we introduce a new feature that will ease your work with campaign settings. Until now, while creating a new campaign you had to manually enter a list of traffickers and media planners. From now on, you will be able to set a default list of traffickers and/or media planners for each client.

Thanks to this new functionality, it will be possible to set a list of users assigned to a specific client-type account in the gemiusDirectEffect interface. Once saved, the list will be available every time a selected client becomes assigned to a newly created campaign. By clicking the Save as default button you will be able to set a new list or change an existing one. It is also always possible to add new traffickers and/or media planners to selected campaigns without modifying the default list.

Note: The list can be set only while creating a new campaign and will affect only the future campaigns.

New ad format - Flipped scroll

This new ad format behaves similarly to the Dynamic reveal ad format introduced in the previous release (Release: 2017-09-13). When the user scrolls the ad through the center of the viewport, the displayed image changes to another one.

Changes in ad templates

We will also introduce a few changes in the existing ad templates:

• Video rollband:
  • new optional field in the creative settings: Sidebar show button that will allow to set an optional image on the sidebar. This image will be displayed only when the banner is hidden. When this field is left empty, only an image from Sidebar show/hide button will be used for both hidden and expanded banner.
• Open door
  • new parameter: Position that will allow to set the position of the close button. When set to On layer, the close button will be set on the banner layer (like the default setting used up to now). Changing it to On player will set the close button within the video player.
