Release: 25-02-2015

List of new features and major fixes for this release:

  • UTM parameters improvement
  • Default UTM parameters in campaign settings
  • Change in the selection of campaign type in the Campaigns list view
  • gDE API update

UTM parameters improvement

With this release, we would like to introduce improvements to the form of the target URL. Until now, only campaign parameters (e.g. Placement name, Folder path etc.), also known as parameter macros, were available while defining UTM parameters in the campaign URL. Now we are introducing the possibility of adding a description to every parameter macro (by typing '[' a list of all available parameter macros is displayed).

Custom UTM parameters

Default UTM parameters in campaign settings

Together with the introduction of the new form of the target URL, we would also like to inform you that a new feature will be introduced that will allow the system to remember all parameters selected by a client. This means that every newly created campaign assigned to one client-type account will have custom UTM parameters set by default.

Should you have any additional questions, please contact your Local Technical Support office.

Change in the selection of campaign type in the Campaigns list view

With this release, we also introduce a small change that will facilitate everyday work with the gDE system through eliminating the need of always having to choose types of campaigns to be displayed in the Campaigns list. In practice this means that last selected settings will be the default the next time you log in to the gDE system.
