Changes in gemiusPostBuy interface / API

We introduce small changes in the gemiusPostBuy interface and API:

  • Real Users Reach indicator is being renamed to Reach.
  • Impressions indicator (if available on your market) is being renamed to Ad contacts.

There are also new indicators that are being introduced for all gemiusPostBuy users:

  • Viewable ad contacts
  • Viewable real users
  • Viewable reach (to be deployed on Monday, October 26)
  • Ad contacts
  • Frequency

Ad contacts (sometimes called an ad impressions or ad views) is an indicator which shows the total number of times a given advertisement is displayed or broadcasted to the audience. In digital media like PC or mobile Ad contact is counted when an ad creative code is loaded, while in traditional media (TV, radio) when a person is exposed to an audible ad. In order to obtain the data on socio-demographic target groups, Ad contacts metric, like every other indicator in gemiusPostBuy, presents the results for placements seen by at least one panelist.

Note: Data for the new indicators won't be available for campaigns which ended before 21.10.2020.

Metrics definitions of all of the new and existing indicators will be introduced in the gemiusPostBuy interface in a following way:

  • in a shorted version as a tooltip by the metrics names

  • in a longer version as a more complex and detailed explanation available as a Metrics definitions list

Please be aware that above changes apply to gemiusPostBuy interface / API only (available in selected markets). They don't affect gemiusDirectEffect site-centric interface / API.

Indicator named Reach which could be found in API is being renamed to uniqueCookies to match its name in the interface.
