List of new features and major fixes for this release:

  • Batch upload feature
  • Small changes in reports

Batch upload feature

With this release, we introduce a new feature, namely the batch upload option for creatives, which allows to upload multiple files at once and should facilitate adding creatives.

Creatives being added are named according to the names of uploaded files. All fields (e.g. default values, length, width) in a creative being added are automatically populated based on values of the fields in the uploaded file. These can be later changed in the Edit window.

The feature is available at the campaign level. In the Add menu of the Creatives and Media plan view the batch upload option has been added.

Adding creatives can be done by selecting multiple files or using the drag&drop option. In both cases, a new window is opened in which you may supplement or change the value suggested by the system.

The new feature allows to create multiple creatives in one template at once. Depending on the template selected, there are different properties available. The system also alerts which of the uploaded files will not result in the creation creatives due to a mismatch in types. In the given example, jpg, png or gif are not the main formats of the Billboard/Banner/Box template, and that is why they have been marked in red (hints available in tooltips). At the end, a window with a summary of how many creatives have been created is displayed.

The new feature is available only for templates consisting of one graphic element (e.g. Billboard + Toplayer is not supported). Is not possible in the current version to upload alternative graphic files, also it does not support uploading files as alternative files and the size recognition in .flv files.

The feedback received suggests it is necessary introduce a possibility of adding creatives despite the absence of files, which are often sent at the very last minute.

It will be the next step in improving the process of adding creatives.

We encourage you to test the new feature. All suggestions are welcome and may be directed to your local Technical Support.

Small changes in reports

In response to suggestions concerning the presentation of campaigns included in a given report, being it reach or summary, the “Start time” column has been added in the “Campaigns included in the report” section. Now users will not have to check for this information in other places, which should save time and facilitate the daily work.
