  • New tab in Statistics view - Acquisition
  • New indicator - Fresh cookies impressions
  • New ad format - Peel off

New tab in Statistics view - Acquisition

This week, we will introduce a new tab in the Statistics view in the gemiusDirectEffect interface called Acquisition. It will be available below the Action paths tab. It is another step forward to fraud recognition in campaigns measured with gDE.

The Acquisition tab will make it possible to see impressions and clicks for two main basis of ranking:

Domains

This view allows users to check on which domains the advertising campaign was running.

For domains it will be possible to choose between two options:

  • Domains
  • Domains x Placements

Statistics without a proper URL address will be marked with ---no url--- tag.

IP addresses

This view allows users to check how many impressions and clicks were made by different IP addresses.

For IP addresses it will be possible to display the statistics only for a whole campaign. Because of the safety policy, all IPs are displayed without the last octet.

Note: Statistics presented in the Acquisitions tab are available on demand and for selected, ongoing campaigns only.

Note: Statistics presented in the Acquisitions tab are recalculated once a day.

New indicator - Fresh cookies impressions

In addition to already presented Iframe impressions and Valid referrer impressions indicators, we would like to introduce Fresh cookie impressions. This indicator will make it possible to check how many cookies collected in a campaign can be considered as fresh - meaning, they were created in a short period of time before the ad delivery.

New ad format - Peel off

This new ad format allows users to uncover an image hidden under the website by peeling off its upper layer.
