Release: 14-01-2015

List of new features and major fixes for this release:

  • BrowserID in click tracking scripts
  • Default time zone in campaign settings

BrowserID in click tracking scripts

With this deployment we are yet another step closer to enhance the recognition of users. New click tracking scripts will allow to measure click events based not only on CookieID, but also on BrowserID.

Important note: This change will be made to both, display scripts and click tracking scripts. Display scripts will retain their existing form of a code to be pasted on a user's website. The only thing that changes is the behavior of the script, which will allow not only assigning cookies to users, but also adding BrowserID identifiers. Only tracking scripts will change their input form.

Default time zone in campaign settings

With this release, we also introduce a small change that will facilitate everyday work with the system for owners from countries with several time zones. Now it will be possible to set the default time zone in account settings in newly created campaigns. It means that an owner with the time zone set, e.g. to Europe/Moscow, will now have this time zone set automatically in every new campaign.

Important note: This change doesn't apply to accounts with several countries available to select. In those cases, it still will be necessary to select the appropriate time zone when defining a new campaign.
