Dwell rate - new measurement feature testing process

We have a great news for you. As of 27th March, we start testing our new dwell rate measurement feature (only for gDE+ campaigns). Right now, you can see statistics of banner visibility (in-screen feature). If you would like to get some information about user engagements with them, you need to use our new dwell rate feature.

We are introducing some of new indicators for measuring dwell rate statistics:

  • Dwells
  • Unique dwells
  • Dwell rate
  • Time to dwell
  • Average dwell time
  • Dwell Score

We also introduce some new options to choose from a dropdown list inside the Distribution feature:

  • Time to in-screen
  • In-screen time
  • Time to dwell
  • Dwell time

New account attachment option

We are introducing a very useful improvement which allows our Clients to attach their accounts without any limitation. From now on, even if many accounts have the same Owner it is possible to attach them to each other. You can analyse many accounts using only one login.

There is no limit to the number of accounts you can attach to your account.

New indicator definitions

We would like to inform you that some of indicator definitions have changed. In the near future, all the Gemius products will use the same indicator definition.

Please, get to know with the new definitions of these indicators:

  • Unique Cookies
  • Real users
  • Reach (new) - The ratio of Real users to the number of all internet users in a given country, expressed as a percentage. Depending on the context, the ratio may refer to a given target group or to the whole internet population.
  • UTM parameter turned off by default.

    Some time ago we check by default "Add UTM parameters". We did that because we do not want users to miss opportunity to track post-click traffic in gemiusPrism or other web analytic tool. Unfortunately this idea was not well welcomed in our users. We collect a lot of negative feedback about that.

    Therefore we are doing roll back of the change to make our users happy.
