HTML5 creatives
The Flash technology era is slowly coming to an end. gemiusDirectEffect supports its successor, that is HTML5. A while ago we introduced new global templates compatible with HTML5 creatives:
- Billboard/Banner/Box [N] [ASYNC]
- Toplayer [N] [ASYNC]
- Expand [N] [ASYNC]
Together with this deployment, we would like to introduce a faster and easier way of uploading HTML5 creatives into the interface. The only thing you need to do is to simply upload a .zip file with HTML5 creative, just like an ordinary file.

Leads in Best performing rotation mode
Productivity campaigns are becoming everyday reality. In the latest deployment we introduced the possibility to mark one action as lead. Together with this deployment we would like to go one step forward and introduce additional indicators: Lead rate and Unique lead rate.

gemiusDirectEffect gives you the possibility not only to measure their effectiveness, but also to optimize their emission based on the best performing results. The newly presented functionality in the Best performing rotation mode is ready to use and will allow to display creatives based on their Lead rate or Unique lead rate statistics.

As mentioned, there will be two ways of optimizing the campaign available. The first is based on lead actions and the second on lead actions made by unique users. After choosing this option, our system will automatically choose a creative with the largest lead or unique lead rate.
New socio-demography visualization
In June, we introduced some of the new visualizations in socio-demography statistics (Release: 17-06-2015). We are glad to inform that from now on every campaign with soc-dem statistics will be enriched with a full set of new graphics presenting target groups measured in campaigns. Available indicators are as follows: gender, age, education and settlement size.

Changes in gDE API
Together with the introduction of the new functionalities, there will be small changes in gDE API. All results of the GetCreativeCodeFilesList command will be extended with a slaveFile field. This field will be automatically completed when a creative will contain files that depend on the main file. In other cases it will be empty.
